Incredible! In the early 2000s, famous Brazilian photographer Sebastião Salgado and his wife Lélia Wanick decided to rebuild their 600-hectare desert land in Aimorés. They planted more than 2 million tree seedlings with employees and volunteers during an 18-year period.

Today, their forest is the site of 293 plant species, 172 bird species, and 33 animal species, some of which were on the brink of extinction .... ....

This is where we want to go in Haiti. To help Haitian communities heal their land, which will then bring healing to the other parts of their life.
