Authentic Haitian Recipes

Haitian cuisine is full of cooking traditions and practices. It is a Creole cuisine that originates from a blend of several culinary styles namely African, French, indigenous Taíno, Spanish and Arab.

Take a look at some of the meals they eat ... HERE ... as we try making different dishes, we'll share the recipes and photos below. You might enjoy them too.

Haitian bouillon is a type of beef stew. It is the equivalent of chicken soup in the United States when you aren't feeling well. The first-time use vegetables we used were plantains and yucca. Because we didn't have access to malanga, we used russet potatoes. We liked the nice kick of spices in the dumplings.
