Jean Claude Cerin
   

Jean Claude has 40+ years of experience in non-profit management, strategic planning, and network development. He has a long experience working with local umbrella church organizations in strategic planning, leadership training, and church and community transformation. He served as the Country Representative for Tearfund UK in Haiti from 2006 to 2019 and the Country Manager for Mennonite Economic Development Associates (MEDA) from 1994 to 2004. He also co-founded and served on the board of several network organizations such as the Federation des Ecoles Protestantes d ’Haiti (FEPH), Fondation Haitienne de l’Enseignement Privè (FONHEP), Beyond Borders, and Limye Lavi among others. 

Jean Claude currently serves as the Campaign Coordinator for Ayiti N ap Bati A, a campaign by a network of over 100 church leaders from multiple protestant denominations who have come together to conceive and build a vision for the next 30 years for Haiti. 

Jean Claude holds a Master’s degree in Economic Development from Eastern College, a Master’s degree in Theology with a focus on Public Policy from Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from INAGHEI- Universitè d’Etat d’Haiti.

He is fluent in English, Creole, and French.
